Bayonne Classical Pilates is a fully equipped boutique studio dedicated to the authentic Pilates method as taught by Joseph Pilates. We are currently seeking a classically trained Pilates teacher or a serious apprentice who is actively progressing through a Classical certification program.

Who We’re Looking For

A fully trained Classical Pilates teacher OR an apprentice instructor currently enrolled in a Classical certification program with a minimum of 400 completed training hours.

This role is ideal for someone who:

  • Is deeply committed to the Classical system

  • Values precision, thoughtful cueing, and lineage-based teaching

  • Enjoys working in a small, supportive, boutique environment

  • Is eager to continue learning, refining, and growing as a teacher

    qualifications

  • Classical Pilates training or active enrollment in a Classical program

  • Minimum 400 hours completed toward certification (for apprentices)

  • Comfortable working with the full Classical apparatus (Reformer, Cadillac/Tower, Chairs, Barrels, etc.), or actively training on it

  • Strong interest in long-term development rather than quick “fitness-style” teaching
